Sunny Country Wedding at Shilstone House – nestled in the South Hams
I am fortunate enough to be a recomended Shilstone House Photographer Devon. I absolutely love Shilstone, is has all the grandeur of a big country house but feels relaxed too, it has a stunning Mughal Marquee for the fun and festivities and a beautiful rustic barn for ceremonies. I met Jenna and Chris in 2019 when I photographed them for their Engagement shoot, I was so excited to shoot their wedding but covid hit the following year and the postponement date came in. Thankfully I was available for their new date and what a day it was…fun, laughter and love. Jenna was so relaxed in the morning, her bridesmaid were amazing and helped with the buttoning and fastening. Jenna’s gown was incredible and when her Dad walked in and saw her for the first time, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. Chris looked fab in his DJ and waiting patiently for his bride in the ceremony barn. It was an emotional first meeting and when the nerves calmed the ceremony commenced. Chris and Jenna wrote personal vows for each other which opened the flood gates again, it was so heartwarming to see their friends and family so moved by their words. Ceremony over and the celebrations got into full swing, starting with an epic confetti lineup to welcome the couple. Garden games, music, dancing and merriment carried on into the night, I can honestly say Chris and Jenna had the BEST DAY EVER!
